Scope: Trade Show Experience, Customer Education, Brand Activation
FortisBC's residential rebate programs include a broad range of energy-saving solutions and home upgrades. The challenge was to create a home show experience that not only promoted available rebates, but also helped customers understand the concept of treating their home as an integrated system where insulation, windows, doors, heating equipment, and connected technologies work together to improve comfort and efficiency.
The solution was a 20' x 20' immersive exhibit built around the theme of "Whole-Home Harmony" and the concept of the house as a system. The booth used exposed residential framing as a unifying architectural motif, transforming the structure itself into a walk-through representation of a home. Interactive displays, product demonstrations, rebate information, energy-saving tips, and a custom home-as-a-system illustration guided visitors through the various upgrades and technologies available to improve energy performance.
The booth successfully transformed complex energy-efficiency concepts into an engaging and approachable experience. By combining education, interaction, and strong visual storytelling, it gave customers a practical understanding of how individual upgrades work together to create a more comfortable, efficient, and cost-effective home.
