Client: SouthPoint Resort
Role: Audio Branding, Brand Development, Creative Direction
Scope: Sonic Identity System, Music Direction, Brand Standards

As FortisBC's brand matured, I identified an opportunity to extend the company's identity beyond visual communications and into sound, an often-overlooked element of branding. The goal was to create a branded audio system that could be used consistently across video, radio, digital, and event productions while reinforcing the personality and values of the FortisBC brand.
Working with composers and production partners at Griffiths, Gibson & Ramsay (GGRP), as well as members of the FortisBC team, I led the development of a corporate audio identity built around six musical themes: Progressive, Community, Business, Getting It Done, Sentimental, and Technology. Each theme supported a different communications objective while maintaining a clear connection to the brand. The system included a custom audio mnemonic and versions ranging from six-second identifiers to two-minute compositions, creating a flexible toolkit for a wide range of applications.
The resulting audio library brought a new level of consistency to FortisBC's communications, enabling creators to match the tone of a project while remaining unmistakably on brand. By extending the identity into sound, the project strengthened brand recognition and established a foundation for future audio and video storytelling.
